This study examines the management of the boarding school program at MA
Mu’allimin NW Anjani and its role in shaping students’ religious character and
overall personal development. The research employs a qualitative descriptive
approach, utilizing observations, interviews, and document analysis to explore
how the structured environment of a boarding school fosters discipline, social
responsibility, and moral integrity.
Findings indicate that a well-organized boarding school management system
significantly contributes to students' character development by integrating
academic learning, religious education, and structured daily activities. The
active involvement of teachers, dormitory supervisors, and administrators
ensures that students receive continuous guidance and moral support,
reinforcing ethical values and self-discipline. Additionally, peer influence within
the boarding school setting further strengthens students' moral and social
behaviors.
Despite its effectiveness, the study also identifies challenges such as resource
limitations, infrastructure constraints, and adaptation difficulties among new
students. Addressing these challenges requires strategic leadership, enhanced
student support systems, and curriculum improvements to optimize the
program’s long-term impact. Overall, this research concludes that boarding
school management at MA Mu’allimin NW Anjani plays a pivotal role in
shaping students into academically competent, morally upright, and socially
responsible individuals. Strengthening facilities, curriculum design, and
mentoring strategies will ensure that the boarding school continues to provide
a holistic educational experience that nurtures intellectual, emotional, and
spiritual growth.
