MODEL OF ISLAMIC RELIGIOUS EDUCATION LEARNING SYSTEM PLANNING ORIENTED TOWARD DIGITAL LITERACY AND RELIGIOUS CHARACTER

The development of information technology in the digital era requires the field of education, including Islamic Religious Education (PAI), to adapt its learning system planning. Digital literacy has become a fundamental competence that must be integrated into the learning process, without neglecting the main objective of PAI, namely the formation of students’ religious character. This article aims to examine a planning model for PAI learning systems that focuses on strengthening digital literacy while simultaneously internalizing religious values. This study employs a qualitative approach using the literature review method. The findings indicate that planning a PAI learning system should integrate principles of technology-based instructional design with religious values grounded in akhlaq al-karimah (noble character).
