Journal of Interdisciplinary Islamic Studies Review

This issue of JIISR: Journal of Interdisciplinary Islamic Studies Review presents five articles exploring contemporary Muslim life through interdisciplinary perspectives on gender, education, digital transformation, tradition, modernity, and family life. The first article, Pesantren and Gender Issues: The Role of Women Students in Modern Leadership, examines the participation of female students in Islamic boarding schools and their emerging roles in leadership and social life. The second article, Religious Education and General Education in Islamic Boarding Schools: A Review of the Literature on the Perception of Students, discusses the relationship between religious and general education and how students perceive the integration of both forms of learning.

The third article, Muslim Life in the Digital Era: Islam, Identity, and Social Media, explores how digital platforms influence Muslim identity, religious expression, and social interaction. The fourth article, Nurturing Tradition, Negotiating Modernity: The Dynamics of Islamic Life in Contemporary Muslim Communities, examines how Muslim communities preserve religious traditions while responding to social change and modernity. Finally, Early Marriage in Muslim Family Life: A Study on Divorce Factors in Bongor Hamlet, Taman Ayu Village, Gerung District investigates factors associated with divorce among couples involved in early marriage.

Together, these studies demonstrate the diverse and evolving dimensions of Islamic social life in contemporary society.
