Abstract

This study analyzes the pedagogical competence of teachers at MI NW Menceh located in Sakra Timur District, East Lombok Regency, in facing the digital era. Pedagogical competence includes the ability to understand the characteristics of students, design learning, and utilize technology to support the teaching and learning process. Teachers in the digital era not only act as conveyors of information, but also as facilitators, counselors, and lifelong learners. Digital literacy skills are an important aspect for integrating technology into learning, helping students develop 21st century skills, and fighting digital challenges such as hoaxes and cyberbullying. The results of the study show that teachers have a basic understanding of technology, but still need further training to optimize digital learning media. Supporting factors include teacher motivation to learn technology, while inhibiting factors include limited facilities and infrastructure and lack of ongoing training. The proposed solutions include providing periodic technology training and strengthening collaboration between schools, teachers, and the government. Thus, developing pedagogical competence that is in line with technology is the key to improving the quality of education in the digital era.
