This study examines students' perceptions of web-based Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology in English language learning at Institut Elkatarie. The research adopts a qualitative descriptive approach, utilizing semi-structured interviews and focus group discussions to gather data on students' experiences with AI tools. Thematic analysis was used to identify key themes. The findings indicate that students view AI tools as effective in enhancing language proficiency, particularly in speaking confidence, writing skills, and motivation. Furthermore, AI's ability to offer personalized learning experiences fostered greater autonomy and self-directed learning. The study highlights the positive impact of AI on student engagement and suggests its significance in modernizing English language education. Further research is needed to explore the long-term effects of AI on language retention and its applicability in diverse educational settings.
