This study examines the influence of school leadership, teacher competence,
and work discipline on teacher performance at SMA Walisongo Semarang. A
quantitative approach with an ex post facto design was used, involving 32
teachers as respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires,
observations, and documentation and analyzed using multiple regression
analysis. The results show that school leadership, teacher competence, and
work discipline significantly impact teacher performance, with an R² value of
0.72, indicating that these three factors explain 72% of the variation in teacher
performance. Effective school leadership enhances motivation and
instructional quality, teacher competence improves lesson effectiveness, and
work discipline ensures consistency in teaching. However, challenges remain in
decision-making, digital literacy, and assessment strategies. Based on the
findings, it is recommended that school leadership be strengthened through
training, teacher competence be enhanced with continuous development
programs, and work discipline be reinforced through stricter policies.
Improving these factors will lead to higher teaching quality, better student
outcomes, and overall educational excellence.
