This study aims to examine the impact of talent management and employee performance through employee engagement at PT. Jamu Borobudur. The research findings indicate that among the three proposed hypotheses, two were supported, while one was not. The analysis reveals that talent management does not have a significant effect on employee performance, contradicting previous research suggesting that effective talent management can enhance employee competencies and overall performance. However, talent management has a significant positive influence on employee engagement, implying that well-implemented talent management strategies strengthen employees’ commitment to the organization. Furthermore, employee engagement positively and significantly impacts employee performance, suggesting that elements such as vigor, dedication, and absorption in work play a crucial role in improving work outcomes. These findings emphasize the need for a more effective talent management approach to ensure that it not only enhances employee engagement but also translates into improved performance. For organizations, especially PT. Jamu Borobudur, the study recommends enhancing structural support, refining recruitment, retention, and development strategies, and fostering a work environment that promotes motivation and growth. Future research is encouraged to explore additional variables such as turnover intention and motivation, which may further explain the relationship between talent management, employee engagement, and performance.References
