This study examines the impact of job characteristics, competence, and job satisfaction on employee performance at RSUD Selong. As a public healthcare institution, RSUD Selong relies on human resources to deliver high-quality services, making employee performance a crucial factor in achieving organizational goals. The study employs a quantitative approach with a correlational research design, using multiple linear regression analysis to assess the relationships between the independent variables (job characteristics, competence, and job satisfaction) and the dependent variable (employee performance). The results indicate that all three independent variables have a significant positive effect on employee performance, with job characteristics being the most dominant factor (β = 0.429, p < 0.05). Competence (β = 0.420, p < 0.05) and job satisfaction (β = 0.411, p < 0.05) also contribute substantially to performance improvement. The F-test results (F = 87.182, p < 0.05) confirm that these variables collectively explain 59.2% of the variation in employee performance, while the remaining 40.8% is influenced by other factors not included in this study.
